For Coaches
Coach swimming. Keep 60%. Skip the admin.
TrySwim brings you students, pools, and reliable payment — you bring certified coaching. Teach on your schedule at approved pools across KL & Selangor.
Why TrySwim
Built so coaches can just coach
Keep 60% of every session
The split is fixed and public: 60% of each completed session goes to the coach, 20% to the pool, 20% to TrySwim. No hidden fees, no renegotiation.
Coach on your schedule
You set the hours you teach. Fill the slots around your day job, your training, or your family — the calendar is yours.
Payments handled
Customers pay online when they book. Your share accrues per completed session and is paid out to your bank account — no chasing, no cash awkwardness.
Pools, sorted
We hold the pool relationships — approved venues across KL & Selangor with agreed access for TrySwim coaches. You bring the coaching; the deck is ready.
Students brought to you
Marketing, discovery, and booking all happen on TrySwim. Verified profiles put your certifications and experience in front of families searching right now.
A vetted, professional network
Every coach on the platform passed the same identity and certification checks you will. That standard is what makes families trust the booking — and pay professional rates.
How It Works
From application to first booking
Apply online
Create your coach account and submit your application: your certification level, proof documents, and any other qualifications. It takes about 15 minutes.
Verification review
Our team checks your identity and certifications against the documents you upload. If something needs fixing, you can edit and resubmit — you are not rejected for a blurry scan.
Get approved & go live
Once approved, your verified profile is visible to customers and you set your teaching schedule. Your first booking can arrive the same week.
Certification levels we recognise
Starting your coaching career with a recognised entry-level teaching qualification.
An established teacher with current credentials and independent teaching experience.
An experienced coach holding advanced qualifications, comfortable across ages and abilities.
FAQ
Coaching questions, answered
What qualifications do I need?
A recognised swim-teaching or coaching qualification (for example AUSTSWIM, Swim England/ASA, or FINA certificates) plus proof documents for each certification you hold. Current lifesaving or first-aid credentials strengthen an application. You choose the level — Development, Junior, or Senior — that matches your qualifications.
How and when do I get paid?
Your 60% share accrues for every completed session — sessions are checked in and out at the pool, so there is a verified record. Payouts go to the bank account on your profile.
Do I need my own pool?
No. TrySwim partners directly with pools and handles venue access. You teach at approved partner pools near you.
Can I coach part-time?
Yes — most coaches start part-time. You control your schedule completely and can open as few or as many slots as you want.
What happens if my application is not approved first time?
You will see exactly what needs attention and can edit and resubmit your application — most resubmissions are about document quality, not qualifications.
The water is waiting. So are the students.
Apply in about 15 minutes — verification usually completes within a few days.
