(Company No. 202501005309 (1606723-W)) ("TrySwim", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA"). This Privacy Policy & Personal Data Protection Notice forms part of and shall be read together with the applicable Terms & Conditions, policies and other agreements governing your registration for or use of the TrySwim Platform, including the Customer Terms & Conditions, Coach Terms & Conditions and Facility Terms & Conditions, where applicable. By registering an account, accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy & Personal Data Protection Notice and consent to the collection, use, disclosure and processing of your personal data in accordance with this Notice.

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Depending on your use of the Platform, we may collect and process the following personal data:

(a) your name, email address, telephone number and other contact details;

(b) account registration and login information;

(c) booking, attendance and lesson records;

(d) payment and transaction information;

(e) facility or coach information (where applicable);

(f) learner information, including health or medical information where voluntarily provided and reasonably required for swimming lessons;

(g) communications with us; and

(h) technical information such as your device information, IP address and usage logs.

Where you provide personal data relating to another individual (including your child or family member), you confirm that you are authorised to do so and have obtained all necessary consents.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

(a) create, verify and manage your account;

(b) arrange, administer and manage swimming lessons;

(c) process bookings, payments and refunds;

(d) facilitate attendance and access to participating facilities;

(e) communicate with you regarding your account, bookings and customer support;

(f) verify coaches and facilities participating on the Platform;

(g) improve, maintain and secure the Platform;

(h) comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and

(i) establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We will only process your personal data for purposes that are lawful and related to the operation of the Platform.

3. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

Where reasonably necessary, we may disclose your personal data to the follows, including but not limited to:

(a) appointed swimming coaches;

(b) participating swimming facilities;

(c) payment gateway providers;

(d) cloud hosting, technology and IT service providers;

(e) professional advisers including lawyers, auditors and accountants; and

(f) government authorities, regulators or law enforcement agencies where required or permitted by law.

4. PROTECTION AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or loss. We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this Notice or as required by applicable law

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security and the proper operation of the Platform. We do not sell your browsing information.
